Infinity Basslink - Need Lots of Info

I have already run a search for the Inifinity Basslink, but this looks like a great option for me. I had wanted to do a single sub, amp, and box, but it will be too much time and money for me. I've found the basslink for about $200 off of ikesound. I need to hear a few more personal testimonies, pics would be very helpful. Also what do I need for wiring (guage, which kit to you recommend)? I've never run an amp kit so I will prob buy it and take it to my local installer and have them run the wires. Are the walmart ones any good? Also when I get the basslink...what all is involved in hooking it up and then "tweaking it". I know very little about this stuff so details are helpful. Also i have seen "prong and plug in" connections to subs before what does this one have. Final question...is how did ya'll run your bass adjustment ****...ie location. Thanks for all your help...

Not enought for me

I once owned the Infinity Basslink, and I no longer do. It just wasnt enought bass for me. Don't get me wrong, it sounded great, but there just wasnt enought there for my tastes. However, if you just want it to fill in the sound rather than shake your car, go for it. 8 AWG is probably big enough for it, and it does have the prong connectors. Anyway, the Basslink is a good product, simply not enough bass for me.

i just put one of those in my friends jeep, it sounds wicked awsome even with the top off, easy to hook up too, tweaking is up to you youll have to play with it for a while to get the sound you want, like the other guy said, its more for making your stereo sound good, not ratteling the windows in the car next to you, its loud but has its limits.
