My friend has a Hifonics colosus and it is awesome he runs 4 Polk Momo's off it. As to the planet audio I picked one up about a year ago for a customer and I was pretty impressed with the build quality it came with gain and x-over remotes which was a new thing a little while ago it pushed three power acoustics 800w 12's to very loud levels.

I have 5 HiFonic amps in my current vehicles. The oldest I bought in 1988, the next in 1990. These two amps have performed flawlessly - absolutely ZERO problems - as my primary vehicle's stereo system (installed in 3 different daily drivers) being pushed long and HARD for over 13 years!!!
I've recently bought 2 newer "generation X" amps for our Tahoe (about a year ago),,,, and so far so good. If I had to make a complaint,,, the newer models are larger than the old ones,,, but they look great!
