capacitor wired right ? ?

hey my capacitor doesn't seem to be working like it should be.. and is only holding12 volts compared to its 20 that it should hold.... i put this in myself and i'm not all too sure if i have the wiring done right.... could anyone post a drawing of how it should be wired or a good explanation... thx

Its not supposed to hold 20v. If your measuring its voltage while the car isnt running, then 12v sounds about right. Around 14v when the car is running.

oh i c.... i was pretty sure that it was suppose to hold 20 volts or something once its fully charged... its an Audio Bahn 1 Fared Capacitor.... but can anyone tell me how it needs to all be hooked and wired up cause i don't think its working like it should... I think i may have it wired wrong sooo ??? anyone just wanna draw me a pic... thank you
