CD player fades out
well fades out might not be the word for it. When i have the volume turned up at 32 or so the front and sail panel speakers turn off and the amp and sub stay running, it only fades for a few seconds but does it alot, so much that i get to the point that i turn the radio off. I checked the radio wires and all seem to be connected good, amp is connected good, only thing odd is the dash speakers are wired weird, the left and right are hooked together and have one line of + and - off of them instead of a + and - for each speaker. The CD player did not do this when it was in my other car. Also it works fine with the volume is at 27 or below. Someone help me its really getting on my nerves!

well it sounds to me like maybe the speakers are run off of one set of wires. Possibly the CD player is seeing a load it cant handle? Try running new wires from the cd player to the speakers. Run a + and a - for each one, and run them off of the front channels of the cd player. Also make sure that you dont get positive and negative mixed up. Thats all I can think of for now, but hey, its worth a shot.

the only speakers ran off of one wire are the front two, i think that could be causing it to, also noticed that the cd player is pretty hot after ive been using it for like 5 minutes? is it over heating? i think the load thing is right though, thanks for responding

Axle/Gears: Slow lol.
Either a load issue or possibly the power supply in the head unit is going bad, struggling to put power to the front speakers the way they are wired up. But as mentioned, I'd try rewiring the fronts first before taking the radio out and tossing it into traffic, lol. j/k :sillylol:

I am almost positive that if the front speakers are running off of one wire, thats the problem. The headunit cant handle it and its overheating. Give them each their own wires, its will help.
