Those are "cheap" sound. If you know about Pyramid, then you'll know what I'm saying. Bang for the buck can be found, but it wont be all that clear at high volumes. But they are great for a starter system I'd say. Do some shopping, do some listening to other set ups for the money and then decide.

But to be honest, I had some Pyle 15's way back in the day, and boy did they suck, lol. I was going to trade my Pioneer 15's for them. Played the Pyles for a day and gave em back. Kept my clear Pioneers, that weren't even made for car audio lol. Can't complain for $10 each at an audio flea market at Parts Express, lol.

My first subs were Pyle... back in '94... they hit, but don't know how the company still is. If you can afford better quality, then go for it! Compared to my Pioneers, the Pyles weren't sht.
(laughs) I found my old "Pyle: The Wild Side of Sound" t-shirt over the weekend... it still fit, too- but not well enough to wear outside. Looks a bit like a btch shirt. Wore it to help my dad on his car

Audiobahn subs are great...I am thinking about getting some and i know 2 different people you have them and they sound great!! If i can find a good deal on ones that are 2 ohms and atleast 500 rms then i am going to buy them in a heart beat!!

ive had the exact opposite experience with audiobahn subs, i have found them to be loud, but sound horrible.
whatever floats your boat, but i prefer a semi clean sound.

I have 2 Audiobahn 12" subs, and I couldn't be happier! They sound way better than my Pioneers that I had before, and they look good to boot. I'm not really sure why they get dissed so much.... ?

Mine are awesomely (is that a word) clear, these a AW1206Q's from Audiobahn, they hit ok, but not extremely well, I have these wired up at 4 ohms to a JBL 1200.1 amp. The quality of these subs way surpass my friends 4' Alpine Type R's And, my other friends old Eclipse Aluminums set up. The are Really clear, I just wish they would hit a little harder sometimes, and yes they do look cool. Bang for the buck = worth it.
