I just got mine less then a week ago,,,,i got a kenwood KDC-MPV619
Its is 2002 model so i got it for a littlke discount cause they were getting all the 2003 models in. I actually like the look of thos one better then the new one cause it doesnt have a big **** on the front sticking out.
For the price of it if your getting a new deck and you have acces to burning cd and hispeed internet you would be plain stupid not to get a mp3 deck......there not that much more expencive anymore.
I had about 300 songs on this computer and I burned 2 cds with all the songs on there in about 30mins. I went to my bros comp he had another 300 or so songs theres 2 more cds......So right now I got 4 cds with over 600 songs on them that all have been d/l off the net. I also have almost 200 bought cds here that if I wanted to I could save them to my computer and burn them to mp3 format. I ususlly get about 160 songs or so on a cdr disk in mp3 format. Plus i think all mp3 decks all show the name of the song on the screen,,,,which is very helpfull when you got a disc with 160 songs on it hahah.
It goes like this if you got hispeed and a burner get an mp3 deck cause you can d/l a 160 song cd of any songs in the world in an hour or so. Theres an unlimited supply of music,,,,,,plus its cool to try new types of music or different bands you dont know of,,,because if you d/l it and dont like it you can del. it. You cant do that going to the store and wasting 20 bucks on a cd that sucks a$$. Im all for mp3 cds!!!!
Get one!
P.S. "Random" Kicks a$$ with a cd thats got 160 songs on it!

i got the pioneer 7400 model and although the feature is cool i found myself not using it all that much. it takes too long to get to a song that you want to listen too on a cd of 200 songs.

spartyon: did you know you can group your songs into folders and skip thru the folders on one cd and then chose from the small # of songs you got in that folder,,,,thats way faster then skipping thru 160 songs to get to the 159th one,,,,,,I also have a remote were I can key in the track number to listen to. I know my deck will read folders maybe yours wouldnt check it out anyhow.
