i know you can get them through crutchfield, and sometimes at circuit city/etc, but like jim said, they are really easy to make. i have 6 1/2" in mine and the only reason why it took me time to make them is the plexi i was using was kinda thin (and it was my first time working with plexi)

Some mfg might make a plate, but it would be cheaper to make your own using supplies from a hardware store. You can either make a 6x9 sized plate or take the whole metal plate out of the back and make a plate that size. Its up to you.

I just put together a component system from crutchfield.. infinity 6.5s and tweeters.. they gave me a scotshe (spelling?) plate to adapt the 6x9 to 6.5..
It came as a kit but I know that summit sells the adaptor plates individually..
Hope that helps.
