Best way/place to mount 2 JL 8W6 subs
Looking for some ideas on where to put these subs in my car.
I have my battery in the spare tire well, NOS bottle going in the rear trunk area.
Is it possible to mount them into the sail panels somehow?
I have an amp rack sitting above my gas tank.

I can't see the pics you posted so this is sort of a shot in the dark. But what if you built a box/amp rack that extended from the back of the back seat to the back of the car. Then you could put the NOS bottle in the middle and the amps on each side, with each 8w6 in line with those at the back. Err, here's a pic. Sorry my drawing skills aren't that great.

Pictures will be available on the 1st. I've seem to have gone over my bandwidth limit this month.
I don't want the systems visible. Some of my friends didn't even know I had a booming system for months, till one day I was rolling into the parking lot with it blasting.
I know a girl with an 87 T/A with a setup like you have drawn.
I'll post a the pic as soon as my bandwidth resets.

I've always wanted to put a couple of good 8" subs in the doors. It would require some fiberglassing and sound deadening, but it would sound awesome! The sail panels would be the same sort of thing. You'd have to fashion a fiberglass enclosure to fit inside the opening. It would be cool though. On more conventional lines, you could build a shallow box that would sit over your NOS bottle depending on how high it is.

You should just get REZN8R's stealthbox, HITHERE got it mainly for the same reason, but HITHERE think im going to sell the nitrous kit, oh well the stealthbox goes nowhere

Where exactly is the battery in the spare tire well? It seems to me that it wouldn't take up a ton of room back there. So couldn't you have the sub mounted to the plastic panel and fiberglass an enclosure behind it that would be above and to the side of the battery. And then just use something like rez's stealth box on the driver's side.
