What amp?
I have a set of 10" MTX subs.
500 watts max
250 watts RMS
4 ohms
Im looking for an amp and have no clue where to start as far as mono/ stereo goes. The amp will only be powering the subs.
Is there any other parts I should think about getting?

you will prolly want to get a class d amp. they are more efficient and easier to wire for subs. the jbl600.1 would be a good option. the mtx500d i believe would also be a good chioce. there are many choices, it just depends on how much you are willing to spend. the type of amp you will want is called a monoblock class d amp. with subs, there is not much musical information if they get wired in stereo, so you can wire them up in mono, which generally produces more power. a class d is also better because of the impedance of these subs, which when wired will be either 8 or 2 ohm. most class ab amps cant handle the 2 ohm load when bridged (stereo wired into mono) or will not have full power output when wired to 8ohms.if you have anyother questions, just ask
