iPod in the Camaro
Just got done fabricating a bracket and installing the AI-Net adaptor so I can get my 5gb of tunes into the car. I think it turned out really nice. The display is backlit so it is really easy to see what song you are listening to. Also has playlists that you can organize and switching between them is a breeze. Much better alternative to an MP3 CD Changer IMHO. Only downfall is if you smoke the cig lighter has to go and the rear defrost button is slightly harder to get to.

Sounds like a interesting idea, would like to how it comes out....
But what about the controls on the I-pod are they all on the front or do they have to be pre-set.....Also how easy would it be to take out and add new songs onto it?

That is how it came out, all I have left to finish is hiding that wire better. The controls are on the front of the iPod, it is actually easier to control than the reciever. As far as adding songs go, the iPod is in a neophrene case that has a clip on the back like cellphones use, so I take it out everytime I get out of the car. I will atatch a pic of just the bracket so you can see what it looks like. The iPod just slides onto it and then I hook up the wire.

Here is a good picture of what the front of the ipod looks like. My case leaves the display and the buttons usable. Adding songs is a breeze, just plug it in and transfer the new songs over. You can setup playlists and it is very easyt to browse through them.
