I know someone who bought one of those. Said it was more than enough bass that what he wanted. What about the lasting quality. I mean if they pump out good bass thats cool but why are they so cheap?

The quality of Jensen's products really has increased in the last few years. I've had two amps and a head unit from them. I've yet to hear their subs though, but I'm not doubting them until I can hear them.

I had one of those Jensen 10's from Wal-Mart that are 450 Watts Max, and an Earthquake Enforcer could not blow it at all. It took a Shredder @ 20hz to do it. The gain was turned up and at 30 hz it did not blow. It lasted for about 3-5 seconds on a 20hz test tone then just started smoking, then quit. Taking about 2400 watts for a $30.00 sub is pretty good in my book.

Hey I have Jensen subs like yours in the same box, but I took them out of the box and stuck them in the custom camaro box.

i got 2 of jensen's 12's from walmart, the ones w/ the blue "chrome" cone and the fat surroud. theyre in a sealed box in the back and i used to have a 250w kenwood amp on it, and sounded pretty damn good, made the windshield wipers jump
however, i ended up blowing that amp at the end of this summer because i always had BOTH of the subs bridged to the amp, and that put a lot of strain on itand it finally quit. before it died, the bass got super freakin loud, and i was like WTF? sweet. but then it quit n i was like aww ****!, a friend is selling me his 2 kenwood 300w amps when i go home for x-mas so hopefully they will hold up to it but yea, 40 bucks for the 12'' jensen from walmart itsnt a bad deal
