got tv...where could i put vcr???

got tv...where could i put vcr???

hi all i just bought a 6 in tv and for now it has an n64 hooked up to it i just got a cheap vcr but im not sure where to mount it ...see the catch is i cant loose my trunk space any body done this yet??? how did you do it ...thanx for the help

VCR?! What is this 1980? :nono: I'm not trying to be an *** here, but don't waste your time; get a DVD head unit. Some cheaper units are down to the $300 area. You save your trunk space, you get digital quality picture and sound, and for *** sakes you don't have to carry around those enormous VHS tapes.

I will second CaysE, get a DVD. But you might want to try the storage area on the drivers side. It might not fit there but the new mobile DVDs will.

VCR??

Well i had mine mounted in my car for 1 week......ONLY to pass time till my Dreamcast was installed.....

Here is where i mounted it.......then again trunk space wasn't an issue to me......

I WOULD HIGHLY SUGGEST THE PLAYSTATION 2 or DVD player route...

VCR's suck @ss

LOL... christ, you got a lot of subs back there. I bet the NOS is to keep you up to stock speed with all the extra weight in the car. :sillylol:

ya i know vcrs bite but hey i have like 15 dvds and *** knows how many tapes ..anyways i made a box that sits right behind the back seat with the face of the vcr facing the seat...only reason i wont put a ps2 or my dreamcast in there is wouldnt it skip like crazy????????...plus i have the vcd boot disk for my dreamcast so i could watch my burnt movies ..if you say the dreamcast dont skip in the car maybe ill try it

You need to burn your own VCD disc.....

Look on google for the following search:

"Dreamcast VCD"
"Dreamcast Boot Disc"

thanks for the info ..ill leave the vcr in and try the dreamcast see what happens..not that im offroading but i have a brand new suspension thats stiff as shiznit ..drive over a little hole and it feels like you droped your car in a ditch ..but handles wicked
as far as the vcd boot disk gos ..can i create an image file and send it to you?
