Kicker and Orion Midbass speakers
Anybody have any experience with the Midbass line of Kicker or Orion. I've decided to do a 8 inch midbass in my doors and Orion makes the 8MB and Kicker has the new resolution 8 inch midbass. Just looking for some opinions.

Both are really good IMHO, but I am a tad biased.
But if you choose the RMB8's, (Kicker) they have a shallower mounting and titanium cone, and a mounting of only 2 1/4" and max power of 350 watts.

I'll take a close look at the Kickers. My source on the Orion speakers is a guy selling some slightly used ones on the internet. I hate buying stuff like that. I can spend an extra 75 bucks and get brand new Kickers off of sounddomain.com. It's hard dealing with this stuff while living in Montana because you can't go listen to anything. I have to go off of specs and reputation. Nobody here carries products like this. I've always been a little brand loyal to Orion because of my experience with them but I know kicker makes good stuff.
Hey Polecat: If I remember right you work for kicker right? It's nice to see you not bash on another product line to try to sway people your way. That makes me want to give kicker some business. I work as a financial planner and the quickest way for a sales rep to get me to loose respect for his product is when all he does is rip everyone else apart. Everyone has respectable products and the differences are what make one suitable for one person and not another.

Yep, Kicker and Adire Audio are the two companies that have sales rep's that don't push you into their product and not bash other people's products. Those two companies are ones I would very much like to do business with.....and work for!!!
*pisssst* Hey get me an internship job next summer. I'll sweep floors as long as the pay is good enough to cover cost of living. lol I just need to get my foot in the door.
