Please, Audio Experts, Your Help...
I have the strangest problem, any suggestions...? Whenever I have to take a sharp turn to the left (involving cranking the wheel 3/4 or more, basically), my sound gets really muddied, and loses most of it's voice...as for when I hit moderate bumps, the sound crackles through all speakers. Now, I know it's not the deck itself, because I've taken it in hand while driving, smacked it around, and such....no skips, no sound problems, it was all good. What type of wiring problem could this be...? It's a Clarion Pro Audio DRX-5675 deck, Infinity fronts, Kenwood rears....any help would be great.

I dont know if you have an amp or not but if you do make sure it is mounted correctly if you dont i would just go over the connections make sure your rca's on the back of the deck arent hitting anything thats all i can think of right now. hope it helps

The wiring looks good - I redid the rears' anyways, but all four cut out at once. I jiggled the wiring harness, it seems fine..I'm thinking that somewhere between the deck and it's power source I've got a problem....maybe I should just try a wire direct off the battery to the deck, like an amp..? Or would that be a bad idea?

good idea, at the very least you help troubleshoot your problem, and either way you get a nice solid connection to +12v.. id say go for it! make sure to inspect the ground carefully...

Well...
As is often the case, my problem seems to resolved itself... , so I guess I'll wait for it to happen again before I get to try and squeeze a thick, new power cable through the small hole in the firewall I managed. Thx everyone for your help, if there's any evolution to the problem, I'll let yas know.
