First of all, I would like to congatulate you on choosing Memphis Amplifiers. Not too many people know of/use them. You won't be disappointed.

Now, $110 for a PB-200...that doesn't sound too bad, though I don't know the list price for it either. I would suggest calling a local dealer and see what the going rate is for a new one and base your decision on that. How old is the amp? What kind of working order is it currently in? These are all things to consider. But, for $110, it doesn't seem too bad.

Remember, this is not one of their top of the line amps like the D or AB series. But, it is a Memphis, so you are not getting a bad amp. Just some food for thought with the price I guess.

You can find dealers at www.memphiscaraudio.com

memphis is some good stuff. i myself like to try other stuff than the mainstream, and memphis was something i was considering a while back. very well made. 110 for a new amp, let alone something like memphis, is a good deal

I would go for it...if it is new. Since you said it was, it should be okay. Like I said, I don't have experience with the Power Bass (PB) line, but you should be very happy with it.

If you are really wanting to put a good system together, look at the Studio Class D and AB amps. Those are killer. I 2 of the 16-ST1000D amps for 2 12" Boston Pro subs and they hit like there was no tomorrow.

If I were to do another system, I would probably get either the 1500D or the new 'Mojo' 2000D amp. The 1500 is 750x1 @ 4ohms/1500x1@ 2ohms and the 2000D is 1200x1 @ 4ohms/2400x1 @ 2ohms. Both are killer amps. The ST3004 is a great 4 channel amp that is rated at 75x4 @4/ 115x4 @ 2ohms. Deffinately worth a look. Good luck with it.

when looking to memphis, you only need one amp.....The Memphis Belle!

That is hands down the best 5 channel amp ever made. THEY know how to add a 5th sub channel, not the pathetic 200watt like all the others, 1000w class d all the way.

Good point about the Memphis Belle, but there is one problem with it. The most you can get out of the 5th channel is 600 if you are using the other 4 channels. That is okay if you are not going for a big system, but when you need the power, you are going to have to get a different amp. It just depends on what you want to do. Very good amp though.

Memphis amps are some of the best on the market. Clean power, low voltage requirment/use, small footprint, very high quality, and great customer service. I just started working for a shop that carries Memphis. I couldent recommend a better amp if you are looking for everything above at a decent price.

I like the stuff thats not mainstream also, CDT and Memphis are my favorites, stuff like Alpine, Eclipse, and especially JL are in every other cars now. In fact if I had to go with a system with only one brand It'd be Memphis...their components, amps, and subs are some of the best on the market by themselves. If I have the $1500 to put into a single sub, a LVS could do some serious damage in a third gen, I might be the first to ever put one in a third gen too.

Get it!

congrats, Memphis makes great amps. If I didn;t love Kicker amps so much that is what I would have bought. You will not be disappointed.

A good friend of mine has a "rice-burner" hatchback with 3-12's. Everything is Memphis. Last years top of the line. (Sponsor) They sound great, I only wish I listened to him and bought a system when the prices were way low. Clean good amps.
