'83 Monte Carlo SS Strip/Street For '91 - '92 Z28
I'm looking to get back into 3rd Gen's for the... 6th time. I thought I would be happy getting out of 3rd Gen's and into other hot rods, but it didn't make me feel 'complete'.
I would be interested in trading my Built 1983 Monte Carlo SS for a '91 - '92 Z28.
The only situation with the Monte is that the 406 SBC blew. It dropped a rod and blew a piston a few months back and I've been wavering on whether to keep it and rebuild motor or sell it as is and start with something new. The motor is out of the car and tore down to the block, I will give all parts with the car, I'm not holding anything back.
Monte Carlo Specs
99,xxx Miles on Odometer
- 406 SBC @ 10.5 Compression
- Comp-Cam 12-679-5 Extreme Solid Lift Cam(.540 lift)
- Comp-Cam Valve-Train
- Solid Lifters
- 1.5 Roller Rockers
- GM492 - 202 Heads w/Machine Work
- Wieand Team G Intake
- Holley 750 Dual-Pump Carb
- Pertronix Distributor w/Flamethrow Ignition System
- Turbo 350 Tranny(Built w/B&M Shift Kit)
- 3500 TCI Stall Converter
- Stock 10-Bolt Rear-End w/Richmond 3:73's Posi
- Flowtech Longtube Headers
- 2.5in True Duals w/H-Pipe & Dynomax Bullet Mufflers
- New Weld Wheels w/MT Drag Radials And Skinnies
- Electric Fan Out Of LS1 F-Body(Switch On Dash)
- 6-Point Roll Cage
- 3in Painted Cowl Hood
- AutoMeter Tach w/Shift-Light
- Fuel Pressure Regulator Gauges For Nitrous & Fuel
- Extra Fuel Pump To Be Used For Nitrous(if running high shot)
- Racing Bucket Seats
- Nitrous Express System w/15lb Bottle (50-300 shot, Currently Jetted For 150) activates via WOT.
- Electric Fuel Pump(New Braided Lines, On/Off Switch On Dash)
- 8gal Fuel Cell
- All Heater/AC Equipment Removed
- Power Locks/Windows(Driver window does not go down all the way)
- Driveshaft Loop Sitting In Trunk, Waiting To Be Installed
- Don't Forget The New Floormats I Purchased For It
Car Ran 7.6's in 1/8th on ONLY motor, which equates to roughly high 11's in 1/4th. Car was repainted roughly 4 years ago. Has clean title, no body damage. All turn signals and such work, car is street legal(except for cat. converters)
I'm asking $5000/OBO as is for the car right now. Let me know if your interested or have a '91 - '92 Z28. Would also entertain trade for good everyday driver.

Glad to see your coming back. Your Red Z28 was just plain sick. Best sounding thirdgen I have ever heard... Bump for a great guy!

Thanks buddy. I'm loving your new Camaro, looks great in the sig! If I could just settle on one 3rd Gen and run with it. I loved my old BlueZ I had too, actually bought it twice and sold it eventually both times, then got into the RedZ.
