open to anything. Auto, 700R4/TH350/TH400, etc. are pluses. T-Tops are good but hardtops work also, maybe even a droptop. I prefer IROC-Z & Z28s but will take anything from a 2.8 or 3.1 to a 5.7TPI or swapped motor car if i like it and its clean. RS works just fine also. No project cars, rustys or anything like that. I have cash in hand. Looking for something that I can drive daily and maybe bring to the track every now and again. If its under $5,000 and semi-local Post what you have available.

Iv got a 84 Z28 with T-tops and an auto 700r4. Its at teh shop getting a big general tune-up, because I bought it from my cousin and it had been sitting for a long time. 126k on it. My friend is selling a 305 with 104k on it for 150 that I could also get for you. Asking 2250

 

hey there exhausted i have a 1989 camaro w a 305 tbi...the color is maroon with chrome wheels..however it does have a broken tower strut mount and needs to be welded back on..other than that the motor is solid and the interior is clean...

Got an 83 z28 with a 383 stroker and TH400 with a shift kit. Both motor and tranny have less than 1500 on rebuilds... I want $3500 for the car. Block was bored .030 over, decked, and clearanced for the steel 3.75" crank. KB flattop hypereutectic pistons 10.9:1 with 64 cc heads. Eagle SIR I-beams. Clevite 77 main and rod bearings. Plasma-moly rings. Running Hooker longtubes with no exhaust at the moment. Needs a good set of aluminum heads I think because I'm still running the stock LT1 iron heads with only 1.94/1.5 valves for the time being, if the car doesn't get sold before winter I'll probably put a set of aluminum Dart Pro1 heads on it. Weiand dual plane intake with edlebrock 750 electric choke. The cam is a Crane powermax hydrualic 234*/244* and .488/.510 lift. Rear-end is a 3.73 limited-slip with a custom driveshaft, crossmember for the tranny, and torque arm bracket on the back of the tranny. Body is in pretty good shape, only a small spot of rust on the drivers wheel well, just surface rust. Paint is white and is a 7 outta 10 at worst. A few gauges mounted with a 5" 160 mph speedo on the dash. Needs a new drivers side door panel, took the other one off to fix the window and its in less than desirable condition so it needs a new one. Located in SW Wisconsin.

1989 RS w/ t-tops, 305, new tires, ball joints, 3 inch exhaust, borla tips, headers, magnaflow, sensitrac shocks and struts, runs and sounds like a beast!!! Minor damage due to the ice storm we had.. one tire is flat, but I will replace it. speedo stopped working shortly after I acquired it so miles are unknown, but when i purchased it it had a rebuilt engine and trans. 1500 will take it.

yeah i am waiting for the right car. i am in no rush to just jump on a deal that i see of a car that i am not absoluly in love with. no doubt there have been some nice ones that people have posted, your old one being my favorite by far.
