Would like to sell to a fellow third gen Camaro enthusiast. I have owned for last 10 years. Keep in storage. Put about 5,000 miles on car in this time.
This can make an excellent platform for upgraded powertrain or just drive as built in the 1980s.
BASIC INFO
Original 305V8. 4 barrel carb. 150 psig compression min in each cylinder. Pulls 21 inch vacuum.
Auto: 700R4. From a 1990 Camaro since better internals. Professionally rebuilt with Monster Kit (Kevlar clutches/Corvette solonoids). New Summit converter (1800 stall). Mobil 1 fluid with Summit larger sump added.
Rear: 2.73 non-posi with drum brakes. (Will include a 28 spline posi rear with the sale).
Body: no rust. I repainted the rear hatch to add stripes (see photos). May include a fiberglass 2 inch cowl hood with matching stripes. Negotiable.
Under-carriage: virtually rust free due to storage and low miles.
Interior: replaced door/window seals. New dashpad, headliner, visors, stereo & speakers. Viper security system. Crank windows.
Wheels: stock 15 inch. (color keyed). At least one tire is brand new. Tread at least 50%.
Spare tire & jack never used (see photo).
All maintenance done: shocks& struts, Walker exhaust with Flowmaster muffler, new cat, battery, starter, alternator, brakes, SS translines etc.
UPGRADES
Summit aluminum radiator, electric fan and Derale controller.
Autometer water temp gauge.
Edlebrock 600cfm carb & aluminum intake manifold.
Have new hatch electric motor & PST front end kit (not installed)
Summit HEI distributor.
Other info:
RF fender: small ding from tapping garage door post when backing out. I tapped it out (see photos).
I have kept all parts pulled from car including AC compressor, original air cleaner etc.
Body paint: it appears the original dealership repainted the car in same white color under warranty. This is based on checking the car when I painted the hatch.
Can add RPO photo from console and undercarriage photos if requested.
This car is registered & insured. Can be test driven.
