1987 Camaro IROC Z28 $9500 ***sold***

1987 Camaro IROC Z28 $9500 ***reposted now with a freshly rebuilt trans***

Exterior:
Patriot Blue pearl paint (2002) Due to the pearl paint this car looks bright blue with the sun reflecting off it, dark blue in the shade or a cloudy day and even looks black at night.
Door molding, stickers and stripes removed during paint job
18 x 9.5 Chrome C6 vette replica wheels with new nitto tires (2013)
Also have original Refinished stock IROC wheels in mint condition (2005)
15% tint side and rear, 35% windshield (2004)

Interior:
Nordskog Digital dash with integrated timing feature for 0-60, ¼ mile etc.
4th Gen Firebird seats
Replaced carpet, headliner and sail panels
4th gen lighted rear view mirror
NO CRACKS in the dash pad or the top door molding

Drivetrain:
T56 -- 6 speed from a 96 Camaro freshly rebuilt 3/18/2016
Mcleod Twin Disc clutch and adj. Master cyl
4th gen 10 bolt rear with 4.10 gears
Eibach pro kit springs (2013)
spohn tubular panhard, sway bars and LCA's with relo brackets

Engine: shortblock (2003) heads updated(2006) ~12k miles ~500HP(est)
383 4 bolt main roller block
SCAT 9000 crank (internal balance)
Cat Forged H-beam rods
Probe Industries Forged pistons (10.5:1)
Dart Iron Eagle 215cc heads (2006)
Moroso Oil pan
Edelbrock Performer RPM air gap manifold (2014)
Quick Fuel 750 carb w/ mechanical secondary's
Comp Cams hydraulic roller cam and pro magnum full roller rockers(1.6) (2007)
MSD Pro Billet dist + 6AL box + Blaster 2 coil
Hooker long tube headers
Custom true duals exiting through Spintech mufflers. Sounds incredible

Miscellaneous:
Spohn Subframe connectors (2002)
Custom Transmission crossmember
converted to 88-up accessories for the single serpentine style belt
like new t-top seals

The bad:
Shifter plate has cracked corners -- repops are available
Paint has been touched up in a few spots and the front does have some small rock chips etc. 90% of the paint is flawless though
Low ground clearance from being lowered and custom dual exhaust
Wipers removed
Heater core is removed since I never drove when it was cold enough to need heat. This could be added back in but realistically this is not the type of car you drive in the winter
The A\C parts are all still there but the system is evacuated and needs to be converted to 134
The power hatch pull down has recently stopped working but it's in the down position so it works just like a normal trunk latch now.

I've owned this car for the last 20 years. It's always been a second car for me and stored every winter and even rarely driven in the rain. It has been garage kept since the paint job was completed. I've updated nearly every aspect of this car at some point over the last 20 years. The true mileage is unknown due to changing out the dashboard to the electronic one but it's approx. 120k. at 29 years old the condition of the car tells you more about it than the mileage does anyway.

As much as I love this car I've simply outgrown it. I also now own other "toys" and started a family. The reality is that I just don't drive this car enough to really justify keeping it. For that same reason I'm not desperate to sell it so don't waste my time with low ball offers. I realize that some people aren't going to have the cash needed to buy something in this price range and financing a 29y/o car can be tricky so I am willing to entertain trades of vehicles for full or partial value. However, I have all the things that I want so my interest in your trade would only be in selling what I get from you so since you're trading it in to me, it's worth nada trade-in value as far as I'm concerned. Extremely well kept vehicles may be worth slightly more.
