1989 IROC-Z Camaro - 383 Stroker - 415 hp
$6500
I replaced the tired old 350 with a new 383 stroker making 415hp. Detailed engine specs below but an overview is a 4 bolt main block topped with a TPIS miniram intake and aluminum pro comp cylinder heads with an eagle stroker crank. I recently rebuilt the engine with all new bearings and seals using exclusively ARP fasteners. I replaced the automatic transmission with a WC T-5 attached with a center force II clutch and pressure plate but the rear end is still stock. Custom exhaust starting with edelbrock headers with two 2.5in inlet/outlet cats with a 3in pipe leading to a new magnaflow muffler and duel tips. Driver’s seat has been replaced with a sport seat and 4 point harness. I still have all the original seats (pictures show back seats removed) if you would like them as well. Wheels have been replaced with C5 corvette rims and Goodyear Eagle F1 tires (stock wheel also available). They are 245 front and 275 rear with good tread. Brakes have been upgraded to Hawk HPS pads and new rotors. I've added a tunable wilwood proportional valve to control the brake bias. The battery has been moved to the trunk with a cutoff switch shown in pictures below. Engine and transmission have around 2000 miles on them. Suspension upgrades include new KBR rear shocks and tubular BMR rear lower control arms. Welded in sub frame connectors have been added to increase chassis rigidity. New 2 core aluminum radiator to handle the extra power with dual electric fans.
