FS: 4/91 build B4C RS Camaro *needs work*
Location: southern middle TN (exit 37 on I-65)
*****Update (3-13-11): The hood has been located and it now with the car.
*****Update (3-4-11): The title has been located, it is a clear TN title and the previous owner has signed-off on it.
RPO codes: the spare tire cover has been lost to the sands of time, but I ran the vin: http://www.compnine.com/vid.php?vin=1G1FP2380ML181472
Alright guys, this is a bit of a longshot. However, this car is a 1991 (I think, build date is 4/91) B4C RS camaro. My friend bought this car several years ago, with a rod knocking. He took out the 350 engine, and what happened to it I am not sure. He then mostly bolted-in an LT1 (literally bolted it to the automatic transmission, and not to the motor mounts, the dr. side wouldn't bolt-up anyway being an LT1). It has been sitting in a barn, in this condition, for almost six years. I recently picked-up the car from him. The car is white with black interior. The interior is rough. Some pieces are missing, but nothing is damaged except the corner of the driver's seat - the driver's side edge of the dash pad - and the headliner. I have no idea what it would take to get the car running, and I don't need it sitting in my yard. The car appears have been wrecked in the past long before my friend bought it (the bumper has some blue paint on the inside, and the upper radiator support looks to have once been painted maroon - also the airbag has been deployed *look at the last pics*). The car had a title at one time, but my friend has misplaced it. It was free and clear and the car will be sold with a bill of sale only unless I can locate the title/ find a way to get a new one. Obviously this car will not be for everyone, but I figure I should put it up here incase a 3rd gen lover has been looking for a B4C car. I have no idea what the car is worth, but the LT1 appears to have an ECU. I figure with what the engine is worth, plus scrap value of the car, plus the fact that it is a B4C should make $1500 a fair price?
CARFAX: Good News! As if the car didn't have enough of a story to tell, It looks like a law enforcement agency (presumably) in Texas totalled it out in 1994!

It does not have the pbr brakes, because it does not have the 1le package. I have been told that it likely has a 3.23 disk brake rear.

Does it still have the build sheet in the glove box. There should be the codes for the 350 and the B4C code. If it doesn't, and doesn't have the big brakes in frtplus the rear disk, it's not a B4C. All B4C's had the 1LE pkg, less the aluminum driveshaft. Also, many police departments did purchase regular RS's

The 8 in the 8th place on the vin says it's a 350 car. But paperwork is absolutely necessary. I wrote a detailed message but when i went to post it, my session had expired. The quote, "that in 1991 you could have either a B4C or a 1LE. However, in 1992, all B4C cars were 1LE - but not all 1LE were B4C." applies to 1993 and above, when Chevy thought they'd be cute and offer the 1LE as an option at the dealership. The only difference with that option and the standard Z28 was the adjustable shocks. You need the title, also, 1985-1992 the Camaro and the Accord were on the top of the list for most stolen cars, and vins were swapped like hotcakes. Check under the driver seat (assuming that it is the original seat) there should be a sheet clearly marked B4C.

it being a B4C really adds no value seeing as all its original parts are either missing or destroyed. if you still had all the orginal equipment it would maybe be worth that.

In the 1991 and 1992 sections of the wikipedia article, it outlines what I am talking about with the b4c and 1le options: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrol...ird_generation)
Also, the 1991 camaro spec section of this site has the same info: https://www.thirdgen.org/1991-chevy-camaro
I think what I am saying is correct.
Also, I updated the original post as I now have the title.
All of the original equipment is there except for the engine.

hence why i said its missing or destroyed not being a a** just trying to give you a realistic price range...500 to 1000 is about all id ask for its a mess. at this point its better as a parts car than to be restored

If you are interested in the car, send me a pm and we can talk about pricing. If not, I would appreciate you keeping your appraisals to yourself (as does every other person selling anything on the internet). If you have info to help catagorize the car (like the other guy above) you are welcome to post them here. Help is always appreciated.
