Car: 1991 Camaro Z28 Clone
Engine: 350 w/TBI
Transmission: WC T-5
Axle/Gears: Spicer 3:73 Auburn Posi
FS: 1991 Camaro RS (Z28 Clone)

This 1991 Camaro started life as a fully loaded RS. I had been searching for over 10 years for this car with the color and options it has knowing they existed but were rare. Between me and the previous owner, I have documents and receipts for almost everything done to the car. Here are some of the highlights of this one of a kind Camaro:
-1991 Camaro RS (Z28 Clone) Dark Teal Metallic Color (136,000 miles on Body)
-1999 Vortec 350 bottom end, and original 305 heads and top end (High Compression) (18,000 miles on engine) - This thing moves fast. Only runs on 93 octane or better.
-5 Speed Manual Transmission (World Class T-5 transmission)
-Glass T-Tops - Locks match Car keys
-Power Windows (Brand new GM Switches - Power Door Locks (Brand new -GM Switches - Power Mirrors
-Fog Lights (Harness not connected yet)
-Cruise Control (Doesn't work currently)
-Leather Interior (Drivers Seat has usual wear - Rest is in good shape)
-Lighted Rear View Mirror - L.E.D Dome Light
-Original GM CD Player (This is extremely rare!)
-1LE Aluminum Spare Tire assembly (Original never used tire and inflator setup)
-1LE Aluminum Driveshaft with new Spicer polyurethane U-Joints
-2.5" Dynomax Cat Back Exhaust with CatCo high flow Cat Converter
-Walbro 190lph Fuel Pump
-New BF Goodrich Traction T/A Tires 235/55/R16
-Optima Yellow Top Battery (Undercoated battery tray)
-New TDS Door Hinges (No sag in the doors)
-All new Weather-stripping throughout vehicle including T-Tops.
-Brand New Restoration in 2007 (PPG Deltron 2000 Paint - DBC4300) (I have pics from start to finish of everything that was done to this car not only during Resto, but for everything else. Over 1 year from start to finish to complete)
-Shaved Body Molding, Shaved Radio Antennae (Have window mounted antennae)
-Rebuilt Electric Hatch pull down assembly
-All new hatch and hood struts all the way around in 2010
-New Z28 hood with Blisters including brand new Hood Insulation with all new Clips
-Xenon HID Projector Headlights (Low Beam) and Sylvania Silver Star High beams - Upgraded to H4 Harness to support voltage demands of Xenon headlights.
-Stereo System - JVC AVX-001 DVD/CD 3.5" Screen Head Unit (Currently Installed) - 2 MTX Amplifiers (250 x1 and 250 x4) Polk Momo 4x6" Plates, and Polk Momo 5 1/4" Components with 1 10" Alpine Type S Subwoofer - Sounds awesome!
-Ungo S670 Keyless Entry Security System (Pager Keypad enabled) Hood, Hatch, Doors, and shock sensors ($500 Installed) - New GM Door Pin switches
- Too much other stuff to list...
This Car turns heads where ever it goes. I have never driven the car in rain or winter, but can't be sure of its history previous to 2005 when I bought the car. This has always been my dream car with the year, options, color, and personalization's I have made. I have decided to sell the car to another enthusiast that will enjoy that car as much as I have. I recently purchased a home and no longer can afford to finish the car the way I wanted to finish it. It really only needs some minor interior work, and from there it's completely restored unless you want to keep going with personalizations. I have a HUGE file of receipts and documents from this car. I kept a tight record of everything I ever did to it, the date, and any other details for record keeping purposes. I also have an original factory sealed 1991 Camaro GM Manual still sealed with a GM Tape. Additionally I have a GM Counter parts Catalog, GM Sales Brochure, and a GM Service Manual issued to GM dealerships that I will include with the Car for the 1991 Camaro. Between the Car Manual, Service Manual, Sales Brochure and Parts Catalog, that's over $250 in added documentation books. I also have a 1991 Z28 Camaro Teal in color Dealer Promo model that came with the cars when you bought them new off the lot I will include as well. With the condition of this car, and the model and documentation it's about as close as it gets to buying it new all over again!
This car has had oil changes 2 times a year with Mobil 1 5W30 Synthetic Oil and a K+N Oil Filter each time. I only put 10,000 miles on this car in 5 years since I've owned it. (383 miles in 2010)
Minor Concerns:
Missing Headliner ($175)
Z28 Hood is on car... not shown in pics... (Just ad
Tiny Rear End Leak ??
Tiny Antifreeze Leak ??
Email Jesse @ kaotik@charter.net with questions. Many more pics available on request...

Thanks for looking!!

Asking $12,995

Agreed - It looks like a nice car, but the higher priced thirdgens are 1LE, GTA, IROC, SLP cars with ultra low miles. For $13k you could get a seriously low mile 3rdgen.
Just stating a fact.

Your going to need a rich man who doesn't have a computer, and who is despratley in need of 91 Camaro RS to sell that at asking price. Even though everyone thinks your way off bse with price, it's still a nice looking car

Hey man, if you will just hold onto it for another 20 years it will be worth something.

Re: FS: 1991 Camaro RS (Z28 Clone)

I appreciate the positive spin and compliments! I wasn't sure what base to start with and didnt want to start the "whats it worth" post . Most cars I see for sale might have one or two things going for it, but usually needs paint or engine work or something substantial, and even then I have seen some going around 7k. I noticed a local uptick in interest in 3rd gen's and going for more than I would have thought. This car is basically fully restored. I know its a base RS per the VIN tag, but someone looking for a heavily optioned car might still find interest in this car. Still has a few minor things, but otherwise not much left to replace on her. If anyone reading is interested, or becomes interested I could do 10k for it... Otherwise I will hold on to her and enjoy what I have got done with it. Thanks for the support!
