1988 IROC-Z Camaro Convertible LT1/T56, Tons of parts, >PRICE DROP<
NEED to have my IROC convertible sold as soon as possible, here is what the general rundown is:
General:
-85-87 IROC wheels, tires have 80% tread on the front and 50% on the back
-Top is junk, and needs replaced
-Practically rust free (little rust bubbled in A-pillar, but not alot)
-Real IROC, originally a canadian car with 305TBI/T5, Ac/Delete, power mirrors, windows, locks..
Engine:
-95 LT1 from Z28 Camaro ~100k miles, runs awesome, and underneath the valve covers not even a hint of sludge, very well maintained.
-Aluminum heads
-Edelbrock Emissions legal headers and Y-pipe
-Brand new Spark plugs, wires, oil, oil filter, AC/delete pulley, belt, and more
-New aluminum EGR block-off plats
Trans/rear:
-T56 6-speed manual from 95 Z28, works perfect, no grinds, noises, etc.. Clutch is still strong. Also has the 95 Clutch master/slave cylinder with steel braided line
-3.27 Posi 9-bolt rear, no noises, etc..
Aftermarket/Performance parts:
-Spohn T56 crossmember (JUST installed, still new) with new bolts
-Lakewood Boxed lower control arms
-Lakewood Adjustable Panhard bar
-KYB GR2 Shocks/struts (all 4)
-AG lowering springs (approx. 2" drop all around)
-Energy suspension Swaybar bushings and endlinks
-Short-throw shifter
-Harwood 3" show series fiberglass cowl hood
Interior/misc:
-97 Camaro dashboard with working gauges
-98 Firebird center console
-93 Camaro Seats
-Nice black carpet/plastic pieces
-New 95 Caprice Power steering hose (the one for the LT swap)
-New TPI fuel pump (never had gas through it) and sock
-Fresh gear oil
-New calipers all the way around, new rear rotors, and pads all the way around
Car is currently not in running condition and I don't have the money to finish it like I intended, and I need the money. In order for the car to be running it needs a fuel pressure regulator, transmission mount (the one on it was good, but somehow broke, $13 part), and the fans hooked up, and maybe more small things but I am working off of memory right now.
I am including all other 3rd gen parts that I have to go with the deal, I wont lower the price of the car if you don't want the extra parts, consider it as: buy the car, get the parts.
A quick list of the parts are:
Extra Tonneau lid, 2 sets of convertible spoilers (need work), Extra set of doors, GTA deluxe door panels, 4th gen dual fans, 3 single fans, firebird spoilers, working firebird headlight assemblies, misc interior trim panels, switches, couple sets of 82-84 t/a taillights, center consoles, shift plates, GTA ground effects, 82-84 T/A ground effects, 87 camaro rear and front bumper cover, 83 t/a rear bumper cover, new front brake calipers, IROC springs, RARE aluminum brake drums, 83 T/a full dashboard, power seat track, jacks, space saver spare tire, fiero spoiler, radios, rochester carburetor, armrests, and more, but I cant think of everything right now.. Bring a truck.
I am asking $3500 for everything, I can't go lower as I have plenty of people who were interested in the car alone for that price.
Pictures arent exactly up-to-date, but they show what your getting, the car looks better in the pictures, it does need paint/body.
I need this sold ASAP, this is a very good deal for somebody!

Camera flash makes the carpet look faded, but it is not faded at all, and the car is just collecting dust and dirt since its been sitting through its engine swap.

i have a 1991 firebird convertible ill trade you for it, needs a back window but other then that start and go had a jasper 350ci and new built 700r4 auto trans put in it in 08 with 1500 stall

Hard to sell any unfinished projects these days man.
I tried selling the one in my Sig. in plans to buy a new gsxr or zx7. with No luck. Plan to just put a Th400 or a T56 in it and have fun with it again now.
Stick with it and put it in the garage till ya find a job and $$ to finish it.

With no transportation its kind of hard to get a job... This car is beginning to look like a dream that wont happen, and I think its better to let it go, ya know? I would love to get it driving, but that won't happen any time soon.
