Hey guys, most of you know this car from the forums, and the boss (The Owner) has decided to sell this car at a stupid price. When I say stupid, I mean at a loss, Yes, Red Ink! He has some other projects going that needs the funds I guess. If you are SERIOUS about owning the lowest mile thirdgen car on the planet, read on!

Up for sale is one 1985 Camaro Iroc-Z28 with only 5 original miles on the odometer. This Iroc has not been dealer prepped, still smells new, and still has the factory markings on the glass (Yes, I am careful when I wash it) LOL. The front chin spoiler is still wrapped in plastic ready to be installed as well as all the hardware needed to do so.

Options include: 5.0L 4bbl Carb Engine, 5-speed Manual Trans, T-Tops, Pwr Windows, Locks, & Mirrors, F&R Floor Mats, Iroc Z Performance Pkg, Body Side Moldings, Interm Wipers, Rear Defog, Air Cond, Roof Consol, Rear Compartment Cover, Limited Slip Axle, F&R Disc Brakes, Fog Lamps, Heavy Duty Cooling, Pwr Antenna, AM-FM Cass w/EQ, and a set of Brand New 245/50ZR16 Goodyear Eagle RSA Tires! I even have a optional dealer accessory still in the box. It covers the rear truck to conceal whatever you are carrying, and comes with a lock as well. It needs to be keyed to the keys of the car, but most mechanics can do that without issue.

This car is as nice as they come; it runs perfect, looks fantastic, and does not leak a drop of fluid anywhere! Now, for the price. We are asking for $27,500. That’s almost a $3,000 loss that the owner is willing to take just to sell it quick. Its pretty sad if you ask me. We can sell a Ford Focus and make $300-$500, and there are thousands everywhere!! Im not sure if he is willing to move on that price. I sure hope not, but we will have to see I guess. If anyone is seriously interested, please pm or call me and we can go from there. I would REALLY like to see this car go to a thirdgen member.

I would know then it would be respected and kept in its current low mileage condition. There are a few people out there that say "I would drive it" I can see the logic in that, but there are lots of low mileage Iroc's out there to enjoy. If this one is driven and miles are put on it, it will be "just another low mileage Iroc” and no longer unique. That’s just my opinion anyway. I really hope it gets a good home, and as much as I hate to say it, I hope it remains a "Trailer Queen" for all to appreciate this one of a kind time capsule.....Thank you for looking!!

Hello,

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I know I did. Anyway, the car is located in Plymouth, IN. About 15 minutes south of South Bend, IN.

As far as blemishes, I believe the car has a couple very small chips in the paint. One is located on the lower passenger ground effect below the door, and the other is on the drivers side. Cant remember the exact location, but I know they are pretty small chips. Other then that, the paint is in exellant shape! Those who have seen this car at car shows would tell you the paint is in very impressive condition. If there is anything I can do for you, please let me know and I will be happy to help!

BEAUTIFUL! If only I had the money. I hope it goes to someone who will respect it because it is definately Rare if not completely one of a kind! 1985 is the first year IROC-Z's were introduced! And that one is cherry! Definately a trophy car! Good luck and congrats to whoever gets that beauty! I sure wish I could.

anyone really looking to get that kind of money should put it there, or on ebay.

Posting a rare find like that on here, isnt going to get you the $ you want. 90% of the people on this board are under 30 and dont have 30k laying around in the bank, much less during a recession.

Its also very unlikely ANY bank will finance such a purchase. While unique and rare, this car has had no real collector car status in the collector market therefore its hard to build a case to any investors.

While I love my 3rd gen, (even being it was a recaro car) its not collectible, and no one is going to buy mine or any other for much more than 10k or so, its just not in the cards.
Maybe in another 10-20 yrs, but thats also being hopeful

Mecum is the way to go. I saw 92 RS B4c sell for 12K last year. IM sure this would get close to asking price. I believe this was the car that sold on Ebay last year. Not too many with 5 miles on it. Nice Car!
