Hey guys sorry to post this here, but i would like to see if i could get any interest in a possible trade or sale on my 1985 Volkswagen Cabriolet GTI. It is all black, with black interior and a black convertible top. There are 156,420 miles on the engine and body, the transmission and a ton of new aftermarket parts were just replaced in the spring. I realize that i should have tried to sell it before i put all the money into it that i did, but once i finish a project to a point where im happy i like to move on to the next one, and I want to get back into another camaro again. I have put alot of time and effort into this car and it is sad to see it go down the road without me but its time to move on to another project. It runs and drives great, the coilovers are a little stiff but they are fully adjustable. It has a 1.8L 8v 4cylinder with a 5 speed, and as i said before the transmission and a bunch of parts were replaced in the spring and the car has been great ever since.

The bad:
there is a little spot of rust about the size of a half dollar on the passanger side wheel well towards the rocker panel.

the gauge cluster works when it wants to, there is a bad connection in the plug in the back of it. and the speedometer hasnt been hooked back up since the transmission swap.

The stereo has been removed, my girlfriends fried so i robbed the one out of my car for hers, so the faceplate for the dash is still off, but i do have it and it is in great condition.

Im asking $3,200 obo, and will definitely consider trades for another f-body in decent condition. I really would like a 350 auto with t-tops, but i will consider anything.
