91 Camaro On Long Island NY, MUST GO!
Gotta 1991 z/28 with T-tops. The car was a orig 305 tpi car, pulled the motor and worked the entire drivetrain, as well as replacing and upgrading the a lot of the suspension. This thing is a PERFECT project car, just drop in a motor and trans and GO! (and I could even work out a deal that supplies you with the trans) I need this thing on a trailer and out of my driveway YESTERDAY! Please look over the list below and contact me if you are interest.
Exterior
-Metallic Blue paint (similar to factory color but with a lot more metallic flakes added when painted) The paint on this car gets looks!!!
-The rims on the car were off a 91-92 RS. They were orig red, I had the rims stripped, touched up and painted to look like the stock alum ones. Look Brand new
Suspension
-Eibach lowering springs, fron and rear, I believe it was 1" in the front and 1 1/2" in the rear.
-Edelbrock Torque arm
-Tokico shock and struts
-I have a strut tower brace for a tpi set up, It never went in the car because the car was being converted to carb. New in box
-Jegster rear lower control arms
Rear
-stock 7 1/2 " housing completely rebuilt
-4.10 gear ratio
-Posi
-28 spline moser axels
-T/a Cover
-20 miles on the rear before the orig 305 was pulled
Even if you bought this car and parted it out, i can GUARANTEE you that you will make money on this deal. There are ton of new or barely used parts on this car. But like I said, i bought a new car, which is almost finished and my parents are about the throw me out of the house if I dont get rid of this.
I am looking to get $1000 obo for the body with no rear
$1500 obo for the for the rear(which i paid close to 3k for and it only has 20 miles on it). if you want both the Rear and the Body, a deal can be worked out.
As I mentioned before i also have a 700R4 that came out of the Z. That was also rebuild when the rear was so it also has about 20 miles on it when it was taken off the road for the motor swap. This must go as well.
Pictures will be sent upon request, you can email me at Mikecruc512@yahoo.com, or contact me through here.
Thank you
Mike

You say the drivetrain has been worked over, so what are the modifications done with the motor?

The motor that was goign in the car has been put into something else. The car is being sold as a rolling chassis. I have the body and the fully built rear to sell, and if anyone is interested, the fully built automatic transmission.

Re: 91 Camaro On Long Island NY, MUST GO!
1200 miles later im empty handed.
**Buyer Beware**
Perfect project car doesnt have a straight peice of sheet metal on it, been hit previously, bodywork was done, and then it was hit again. Drivers side 1/4 has been mashed, and the previous repair on it is obvious as factory crease's make odd curves. Both doors are bondo'd, passenger door hits dash when closed, drivers door is kinked underneath from an impact. Both fenders are toast. Both kinked and bent outward. Front skirt has been ripped on 1 corner, there is a rust hole by in the drivers footwell, steering column is ziptied and silicone'd together. Paint is in horrid condition. GFX dont fit properly to body etc.
When i mentioned that there was bondo in the door, the seller told me their wasnt. Their are 2 massive cracks from the bondo in the door. Either the seller got screwed over when he bought it, or he is trying to do so to the new buyer.
Needless to say i drove 1200miles round trip to get this car, which turned out to be a pile of ****. Seller was well aware of the drive i would be making, and even told me its worth it to "part the car out". Well ****, i wouldnt have driven 1200miles to get a damn parts car.
End Rant.

Re: 91 Camaro On Long Island NY, MUST GO!
Sheldon could you not see the body damage from the pics he sent or did he just send pics of a different car altogether. That sucks about you wasting 1200 miles worth of time and gas.
I say the OP should be changed to reflect the problems found by Sheldon and the OP should get for trying such underhanded shennanegins. (sic?)

Re: 91 Camaro On Long Island NY, MUST GO!
Looking through my pictures, every one of them was taken at a perfect angle to not see the damange.
If you look in my "Recent posts" for my LSx swap thread, i have pictures in there, the ones he sent me.
"It has a few dings in it" is a quote from his email. Few dings, i expected to be minor, not look like someone drove it between 2 walls bouncing off each of them.

Wow....this is BS. So...did you take possession of the car then? Or did you just see it, then bounce? Hopefully you didnt pick it up because if it really has all those problems, you can find something way better for the same price...

Re: 91 Camaro On Long Island NY, MUST GO!
Left it right where it was. Spent 26 hrs on the road, rented a trailer from UHaul and towed it down and back, put 2000kms on my truck and spent 400$ on fuel all for nothing.
