1985 Blue Camaro 2.8L Auto for sale....
This has been my baby for the last 10 years (I'm the second owner of the car, who took even better care of it than I did).
It is a 1985 Blue Sport Coupe Camaro. It has a 2.8L V6 with a 700R4 automatic transmission. Transmission is out of an 89 Camaro (when they beefed up the transmission), because my overdrive in my stock one went out around 80k.
Car has power windows(I installed Trans Am doors with locks and windows), manual mirrors, no AC (as this was originally from Wisconsin where we didn't need it), T-tops, power hatch release (not power pull down).
Engine has about 160k on it, but was running strong when I parked it. Took it to the track once a few months ago out of curiousity and it ran 17.2 (when factory was 17.0 22 years ago.. not too bad!) Had a new paintjob done 3 years ago.. body only has a tiny bit of surface rust on the bottoms of the rocker panels.
Now to the problems....
Car was broken into a few months ago, they broke the door locks, and ripped out the CD player.
Car will need a new oilpan, as the current one is close to rotting out, and leaks a little.
When I had the last tuneup done, the shop that did it, did something with the wiring harness behind the driverside head and they got too close to the manifold. a few of the wires melted causing the idle to be rough and then prevent it from turning off the engine when I turned off the key. (I pulled the wire off the coil to stop it)
So really, a new oil pan, a few splices of wires, and a stereo, and its a beautiful car.
Car has a clean title, and I'm asking $1500.00obo for it. As I have 3 other F-bodies, I don't have time to drive this one and would like it to go to a good home. It really kills me to get rid of it, but could use the money for mods on the others. Can take any pics anyone wants, not trying to hide anything. Feel free to ask any and all questions.

Video of the ONE time it saw the track....
And I will need to take new pics, since I can't find the ones I had saved. I will take the main angles, if there is something special wanted, let me know.
These are all I can find till I take more this afternoon...

Here are the pics I took today. I took pics of everything I could find that is "wrong". Comes with the sotck '85 front floor mats, stock t-top bag, keychain that has a number on it, supposed to be tied to the car's registration, so if you lose them they are supposed to be able to be mailed to you, I never had the guts to try it out.. lol. Most of the seals/weatherstripping will need to be replaced as this is at 22 y/o car, tires are pretty much gone after I looked today, car was wired for a 300 watt amp and 300 watt sub box, but that was taken with the stereo, But the wires are still there and ready to be hooked up if someone wanted to add one. Ask any and all questions, as I don't want to "screw" anyone, but I have decided that its time to get rid of my first baby (Bought it the DAY I got my license) and stick that money into my new project car. I do have an '88 Formula parts car that I am asking $500 for the whole thing (interior is gutted, but most of the parts are included.. if anyone wanted to convert this to a V-8 car with a/c.

Well.. I replaced the oil pan.. and a full exhaust from the manifolds back with a new cat, and a new 02 sensor. Car is still for sale. Ask any questions.
