1992 Z28 original 5.7
SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of the relatively few 25th Anniversary cars equipped with the L98 option (5.7 liter, 245 HP, 345 TQ). Its mostly original, and in pretty good shape. The mods include:
K&N Filters
Throttle Body coolant bypass
trans cooler
rebuilt 700R4 Trans with Corvette servos and shift kit
performance muffler and zero-restriction cat
3:73 gears
'94 Z28 front seats (4-way power)
Sony X-plod head unit with remote and Pioneer speakers in original locations
The car has a few parking lot dings and the corner of the front chin spoiler is cracked, and there are a couple of spots where the clearcoat is starting to fade; however it still looks hot. Of course it has the high-rise spoiler and vented ground effects which are all in pretty good shape. The front fascia is one of the better I've seen, with minimal deformity. Factory options include foglights, defrost, power windows, locks, mirrors, and driver's seat; map lights, and oil cooler.
The car runs and drives great. The engine sounds awesome and the trans shifts strong. The car feels good on the road; brakes and suspension feel good. The car is overall pretty solid.
Recent service includes:
Rear Shocks (Monroe)
Cap, rotor, plugs, wires
fuel filter
fuel pressure regulator (stock replacement, non-adjustable)
tires (245/50/16)
Car was a daily driver until I bought this disgustingly efficient new Civic in May. I have too many projects so somethings's gotta go. I'll probably kick myself one day for letting this one go, but oh well. Here are a few parting details that will be of particular interest to prospective buyers:
Car is in San Antonio, TX
I am asking $4500 or best offer

25th Anniversary
The car is all red. It does have the 25th Anniversary badge on the dash. I do know from the numbers that it is an original 5.7 car. Interior is gray, and in good shape. I can email pics if you like.
The odometer shows 130k miles. The speedometer gear cratered (cheap and easy to replace, I just didn't do it yet), and as a result the odometer stopped turning. This happened about 5 months before I quit driving the car. Based on my commute and trips I took I would estimate mileage at about 137k now.
Thanks!
