Big brakes for Camaro with LS1

Hello everyone. I wanted to share with you the experience of installing enlarged brake discs on the rear axle of my 1986 Camaro with 17" wheels. We wondered: What kind of caliper can be installed to save the handbrake and put 330mm brake discs in the 17th wheel. The answer was found - the brake caliper from Volkswagen faeton, and the brake disc from BMW. Next, the brake disc protection was made, painted and installed on the bridge. If you're interested in the front wheels,

Nice work!
Did you select the Faeton caliper based on piston volume compared to a stock caliper? Or wheel fitment, or possibly something else.

I always enjoyed brake upgrades. My resting project car has front 1LE rotors. And my daily driver got updated from 330mm / dual piston sliding to 343mm / 4 piston fixed. That is a subtle, but stronger and smoother update
