Brake Problem?

Car: 1992 Chevy Camaro RS
Engine: LO3 - 305 TBI (Stock)
Transmission: 5-speed - T5
Axle/Gears: Stock
Brake Problem?
My car is a 1992 Camaro RS 305 TBI. My brakes work fine under normal conditions however if I slam on the brakes, the brake pedal becomes super stiff and the car doesn't slow down. It nearly caused me to have an accident last week when the light turned red unexpectedly. If it would have been a car slamming on the brakes it would have been a wreck. Any suggestions?

Well you will need to get this fixed asap. If it was my car I would look at then praporscenet valve[spelling]. Maybe plugged rubber brake hoses or lines. The entire brake system needs to be checked.
