I want to instal LS1 brakes but I have heard they dont fit some 15" rims. I have 15" progressive? aluminum centerlines. Is there any particular part I can measure or dose anybody know from experiance if they will fit?

The rims in the pic are not my exact rims but they are pretty close.

Re: LS1

you may need spacers. so take that into consideration when buying your wheels. i'm using weld draglites with 1/2" spacer in front and some serious grinding to the rear calipers and brackets.

Re: LS1

So its possible with spacers? and the grinding is that grinding the ridges off of the caliper? I would appreciate it if anybody running LS brakes could measure from the center of the spindle to the top of the highest ridge on the caliper. That should give me an idea of what Im working with here
