Drum brake confusion!
Hey, so I've had to replace my brake shoes due to the old ones getting covered in oil after the so called 'saver' bearings leaked after 3 months.
Basically what I want to know is have I put the drivers side back together correctly and what way round things go on the passenger side...as being a complete amatuer I took them both off together without leaving one on as a reference.
Below is a pic of the Drivers side I've re-assembled and a pic of how I plan to assemble the passenger side...
Am I right in thinking that the parking brake lever is attached to the shoe with the longer lining on the passenger side but shorter lining on the drivers side? so that the shoes nearer the rear of the car are both with the longer lining?

Re: Drum brake confusion!
Thanx Dan, I'll put the passenger side back together after work today.
