Banjo Bolt size?

Hey gang,

I just started installing my Goodridge s/s brake line kit and made a minor mistake on the install. I accidently had the front passenger brake line pointed in the wrong direction, so when I went back to reinstall the bolt with need crush washers, and it snapped. Luckily there was enough of the body so I could take it out by hand. Now the only thing is I need a new bolt but don't know what size. Also, does anyone kno the exact torque rating for these bolts? My manual says 18-30ft. lbs. The car is a 88' Iroc, without the 1LE package. Sound right? Thanks.

Thanks. I was needing the torque for the bolt going in the caliper for the brake hose on the front.

Do you know the torque for the 2 bolts holding the front single piston caliper on? I'm thinking that is all the torque specs I need to replace the front calipers.

Oh, and when you guys replace the calipers. Are you guys prefilling the caliper with brake fluid? It does seem like it will be messy. As while you pull the brake hose to swap it to the new caliper. Brake fluid will continually dump from the brake hose.

Thanks. Is that all the bolts for the caliper? Brake line banjo bolt and the two caliper bolts with the allen head?

OP,

You can get that bolt from any parts store like Autozone or Advanced.
