Squeaky brakes- wobbling wheel?
Ok im not the smartest person when it comes to brakes/suspension componets.
When im driving down the road over 35MPH the brakes squeal real bad, when i push the brake pedal in just a little its stops. But when i push the brake pedal in all the way to stop it squeals real bad. Its not the same sound as if i would need new brakes. the rotors and brake pads look almost new, and the sound is only coming from the front of the car. Last week i took a corner about 25 MPh and the left from wheel (i believe) was shaking violently like it was wabbling off.. i quickly slowed down and the wabbling stopped.. it also pulls to the left real bad when braking.
well i dont really drive my car that often (resto project) and i think the main causes would of been from:
A-the steering fluid case over came off while i was driving (wasnt secured on)
B-i hit a horrible pothole on a road (i tried to avoid it but it was too late) but thats when the horrible shaking and noise started..
could it be a combination of the two? or did that pothole really mess something up?
it just scares me to drive it .. any help?

Jack the car up and pull back and forth on the bottom of the tire. If there is play then the lower ball joint is shot. Could also be any of the things james listed above

well i jacked the car up.. it has little play when i shake it back in forth, but its from the steering componets.. so i gotta get that fixed.. as for the squeaking the pads are like-new, the sensors arent anywhere close to the rotors.. but i will dig deeper into it to find out why its making that sound

could have debris stuck between the pad and rotor surfaces. Take off the brakes, relube the pads and such, use some carb cleaner on the rotors to get any oils off, should be GTG !

Check your front struts for leakage and to see if they are worn out. And the brake squeel maybe from glazing of the pads and rotors. Take a piece of sandpaper to the rotors and brake the glaze. Or just stomp hard on the brakes once or twice. Then quit driving like a grandma and use your brakes every now and then to keep the glaze from reforming! Another thing you mite check, if the rotors are slightly warped the pads can move in and out when you drive. A dab of grease where they set on the caliper may help.
