standard c6 calipers
does anyone know if the standard c6, not the 6 pistons calipers the 2 piston ones, will bolt right on in place of c5 calipers and use the c5 rotors?

Yes, C5 and C6 BASE brake rotors will interchange with C5 rotors, the Z51 and ZO6 will not.

Re: standard c6 calipers
thank you ed for the info. i have the z51 rotors and calipers. so your saying i can not use the z51 rotors with my swap for my 91 trans am? but i can use the z51 calipers is this correct? are you saying there are a lower grade caliper and rotor setup than the z51 for the c6? how much are the brackets to use the z51 calipers on my 91 trans am. then i would have to use the 1le rotors front and back is this correct? thanks ed i know your a busy guy.

Re: standard c6 calipers
so im a little lost now, i thought the base c6 rotors were like 13.7 inches, and the c5 are 12.8. how would the larger rotor work with c5 calipers and brackets? or do you need the c6 brackets and can swap the calipers betwwen the two

Re: standard c6 calipers
Nope..base C6 are 12.8" just like C5s are. The larger Z51 rotors will work, you'll just need the larger caliper abutments. I have many sets on hand if you need them, new and used.
