Looking to upgrade my brakes ASAP... (TTII owners)
I want to stock brakes to something bigger. The only problem I can see having is trying to fit them behind my TTII wheels. I read somewhere that bigger brakes can be had but only with modification. The spec on my wheels: The rear wheels are 17x9.5. They have a backspacing of 5.5in. and an offset of 6mm. The front wheels are 17x8. They have a backspacing of 4.5in. and a 0mm offset. If there are some TTII owners on the board with big brakes please chime in. I want to make a purchase by the end of the week. -Josh

I've got TT2s and Ed Miller's C4 brakes up front with 1LE brakes on the rear. I'm running 17x8 with the 4" backspace and -11mm offset and have no clearance problems with either. With you having 4.5" bs you could possibly go with his C4HD or maybe the LS1 fronts but check with him to be sure.

Cool. Thanks for the info man. I really appreciate it. Out of curiousity, what all came with the kit and how much did it run you?
Is anyone on here running C5's with Torque Thrust II's or a similar wheel design? If so how did you get them to fit? Thanks, Josh.

Mine came with the modified spindles, caliper brackets, hubs, bearings, seals, all bolts and hardware, calipers, rotors, pads,Earls braided lines, everything to do the job. Mine was one of his early kits and cost me $500 after I gave him my spindles ($50 core) but he has had to raise his prices since then but it's still a killer deal.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just printed out the C5 template off bigbrakeupgrade.com. I'm going to try it out first thing tomorrow.
