Brake line adapter help

Can anyone tell me what fitting I need to adapt to the rear flex hose. We coudln't seem to find the right fitting at CarQuest. It takes a bubble flare, but don't know the size and thread. I'm trying to convert to 1/4" double flare so I can run a new line.

Thanks,
Ben

I'm pretty sure it's a M10 x 1.25 as listed here for a 1/4" line:

Thanks, crossing that over to Edelman (http://www.plews-edelmann.com/brochu...cation_id=2803) which CarQuest carries, looks like it should be part number 271330, for future reference to anyone looking for this.

Thanks

Alright, I tried fitting the adapters that I had used on the front (3/16" ITN - M10x1.0) and its way too small for the back so it has to be M12 or something. Does anyone know for sure?

Re: Brake line adapter help

Yes I got the lines finished. It was not an M10.

Re: Brake line adapter help

Any luck with finding the numbers? I am thinking 12 by 1.0...The Chevy dealership today said it was a 6mm line. Looking at the bottom of the page linked above, there is 12x1.0 and 12x1.5...

Re: Brake line adapter help

Hey JDud,
I've seen your posts asking about this, but I haven't made the time to go check it out. I have a LS1 master cylinder, and the front fitting (for the rear brakes) is definitely a M12 x 1.0. The rear fitting (for the front brakes) has a 1.5 thread pitch, but it's too big to be a 10mm and too small to be a 12mm. From looking at the FMSI parts page, it looks identical to a 11mm x 1.5 tube nut.
