Transmission: Doug Nash 4+3
Axle/Gears: 3.07
The Mechanic Said He'd Never Seen It Before...
So we take my '89 T/A (resto project) to the shop today to get the front wheel bearings replaced (it'd been making an awful grinding noise for the last few hundred miles). The mechanic said he'd never seen anything like it in all his years. Amazing the front wheel didn't fall off eh?

Looks nasty, but couldn't really have fallen off with the spindle nut holding it at least.

where those factory rotors or where they replacement cheap-o rotors?

I believe they were replacements - the rotor itself was still in fair condition with little wear. I doubt very much they were OEM.

wow i hope that not what my rotor looks like when i go to change my wheel bearing. its been making some strange noises too.

I had a 76 formula 350 that did this. it would go threw weel bearings about avery 3-4000 mi. befor and after a new roter turned out it had a bent spindel aparently it had bean hit on that side befor I owend it.
