C4-HD brake hose problem

I am finishing up my C4-HD swap and suspension rebuilt but hitting a lot of snags which are slowing me down a lot, but that always happens. I am using 1LE calipers to save money since they are cheaper then C4-HD. The problem is that 1LE calipers have the brake hose mount on the bottom of the caliper where the C4 calipers have the brake hose mount on the back. I am using Earl's stainless braided hoses made for a 1LE car. As you can see in the picture below the securing nut on the brake hose does not reach the mount on the strut this is because the C4-HD rotor is 1 inch larger then the 1LE rotor and the caliper is mounted lower then where the 1LE caliper is mounted. Has anyone used a 1LE caliper on their C4-HD upgrade or have this same problem. Do you think zip tie's would be a safe fix for about 10k miles?

And here's a picture of how close the line is to the steering stop, it clears it but not by much. Since the steering stop hits the spindle and not lower its okay but still a C4-HD caliper would have made this a lot more worry free.

The line issue is due to the clocking of the caliper..remember that the 1LE is at the 10 AM position and the C4s must be around the 8:30-9 AM pisition. Nothing a longer line from Earls' or Goodridge wouldn't fix. A zip tie would be all you'd need to hold them out of the way, they do make them in stainless, BTW. Those should do it. Any electrical supply store that carries Panduit products should be able to get the SS ties for you.
