US Brake vs. Power Stop

US Brake vs. Power Stop
time to put new rotors on the front of my 1987 sportcoupe. i am not looking to put anything real fancy on the car, actually, i may just go with factory replacements.
i was looking through my jegs catalog a few nights ago and noticed these two brake companies: Power Stop and US Brake.
Power Stop has a relacement rotor available fore $79.99 a piece that is cross drilled. JEGS p/n 915-AR-8213L/R.
US Brake's listing is a little less specific and a little more universal and i don't know if these will even work. JEGS p/n 921-9850-6501. US Brake claims 2.75lbs lighter and 25% stonger. these are $69.99 a piece.
What should i run for pads on these rotors?
brake experts please reply. i DO NOT want anything other then a direct factory style replacement. i do not want to run corvette brakes, i do not want to run 93+ camaro brakes or ls1 brakes or anything else then what i can run with my stock mounts and brackets and calipers.
this car is my daily driver with an emphasis on drag racing. i would like the car to handle the same or just a little better than a stock iroc. i plan to put an edelbrock 3pt stb and a wonderbar with stock iroc replacement springs. a Suspension Technique front sway bar with the a-arm bolts removed for the the track.

Get some higher friction pads like Hawk or one of the many other companies whose names elude me know. If it was me, I would probably go to my local parts store and get some $30 rotors and good pads(Hawk, or something) and be done with it...

There are about 4 or 5 companies selling drilled, slotted, and drilled/slotted rotors on eBay. All are cheaper than the prices above. I dunno if they're any good, but most sellers had good feedback. Maybe someone else here has used them and has some input.
For good brakepads that aren't a bazillion dollars, try the Hawk HPS pads. I know Tire Rack sells them for like $35/set and they improve braking over stock pads.
