See the link above to Todds site scroll down you'll see he sells them for $125.00 + ship and for an addition charge he'll even whip up a set of hubs, there's also a list of all the parts and numbers. Great communication and good product.

So how much better would you guys say these C5 front brakes are compared to the LS1 brakes? Say 10% better?

I've never used the LS1 fronts but I have and do run the PBR 12" on another car and the C5's are definitely better at high speeds. One difference however I run EBC pads on my C5's and OEM pads on the PBR's so how much that plays into it is a tough call. Put it this way if you have 17"s I would go for the C5's if you still run 16"s then use the LS1's. Either way the upgrade is very substantial over stock.

Well i bought LS1's rotor's and calipers with carriers off of ebay for a steal with the intentions of using that setup.
But before that i purchased 1LE rotors to use as hubs for the C4HD setup(gottem cheap). So i guess i could go eather way,the car is still not completely assembled as of yet.The wheels i will be running are the 16" rs style that came on 91-92 camaro's,so right now im just wondering which to do

Hehehe i guess my short attention span doesnt help when your young its A.D.D. and when your old its alsheimers

if you have someone who is gona make em on a cnc PM me.

I have the files in a DFX format for C5/C4/C4HD setups

$125 is a heck of a lot for brackets. I can make and sell em for alot less.

I'd also like a set of these brackets. I sent a message to the guy at the above link, but I haven't heard back. what I wouldn't give for a CNC machine.....

Quick question. Are those bracket dimensions only for the stock C5 brakes or are they the same if I want to use Z06 parts?

ZO6 stuff is identical to regular C5 other than the calipers are red and the pads/rotors are a little more performance oriented but the sizes are all the same.

Are there any more detailed blueprints or templates for these brackets around here. My searches are coming up dry

Re: C5 front brakes. Need bracket dimensions.

I was looking for something in more of a template form that I could print out to actual size and trace out. Not that the pic in #3 isnt good...that will be great for centering the boltholes...like I said, just wanted something that I could trace the contours instead of fitting, milling, fitting, milling, fitting, milling....you get the picture...hahhah....unless I can blow up that pic but Im kinda computer illiterate so this may or may not be a prob for me...heheehe

Re: C5 front brakes. Need bracket dimensions.

I have them in the shop if you want to save yourself some time, zinc plated and ready to go. If not, RT click and save this pic and insert it into a Word .doc, then scan it larger until you get the measurements where they need to be. Cut it out and get busy. I would think you'd save time by buying them but to each his own. HTH..

Re: C5 front brakes. Need bracket dimensions.

I would buy them but I am a machinist and have a full bridgeport mill and both steel and aluminum stock at my home plus I enjoy doing stuff like this myself...like I said, I was gonna fit everything up myself and make one with my own measurememtns but since this is already done, might as well just use this template. Thanks

Yes well actually its an ENCO but most people in the industry refer to a turret mill as "BRIDGEPORT".....like saying I need a Band Aid or use some Vaseline...you know what I mean....anyway, yes I also have a metal lathe in addition to all types of metal fab equipment I have collected over the years. I really dont ever purchase anything that has to do with bracketry or just about anything I can make thats worthwhile economically.
