temporary ttop leak fix
my ttops leak at the most common place, at the back where theytuck into the middle bar. everytime it rains or i wash my car its wet in my back seat. today i washed my car but before i put a ziplock bag over the middle bar and put my ttops over the bag. i dunno if it made a better seal or what, but i do know that there was not a drop of water in my car. just thought id share.

I found on mine the sealant went bad, all dried up and one senction of the seal has nothing. so I clean out als much of the old stuff, and added some new stuff in. it has not rained yet, and I have not had a chance to test it for leaks. But before I would get water in from the back of the tops and the two front corners where the seal goes from the t-top down the top front part of the door glass.

i have a problem in the 84 with water inside of the front door pillars, i have the pillar panels removed and halfway down the pillar there is dripping, woulndt be able to tell that with panels installed, the water opwuld just run down to the door jamb hinge area, thought id share that, i dont know where that leak is coming from either, is not from inside of the top pillar at top of windshield, i stuck my finger inside of the hole where sunvisor goes and there is no water there, so is not windhield leak apparently,
