Radio and Heater control face plate

ummmm..... I was gonna see if I could get to the vacuum port in the back of my heater controls (they hiss like hell!!), but I couldnt get the face plate thingie off becasue it has one screw (torx), in the top left corner, obscured by the lower dash panel (the one that is live about drivers knees i guess). So i figured, i'd just need to buy the right size torx driver to unscrew that panel...but....http://www.hawksthirdgenparts.com/in...il?v=1&pid=330 shows a picture of one, and it dont have a bolt in the top left!!! uh.... anybody else has four bolts, or is my car a freak?!?!

yea, my car has four screws, they all do, that pics just doesn't show it well. To get that trim panel off, you have to kind of pull it right and out at the same time.

When they changed to the new gage cluster, (think it was 1990) the top left of the trim gets tucked under the dash. No screw is needed.

When I pulled mine out, it had three screws that held the thing in place. The upper left screw comes out, but it doesn't screw into anything, it is a short screw that is just there for looks.

Yeah--there's like a small arm(if I remember correctly)that makes you have to pull it to the right to get it off. This arm locks the faceplate in so it sits flush--all screws should be real. also--that same screw is much shorter then the others--about half the size.
