just a quick tip,
when i first got my 3rd gen, i wanted the exact style you are looking for with the same rims...
my tip, go 245 all around, you wont notice a difference, and that way you can rotate normally all around. trust me, you'll save $$$ and it is more practical!
sorry, dont know backspacing...

I bought Nitto NT555 G2 Summer UHP Radial 315/35R17 for the rear and 255/45ZR17 for the front. What rim/wheel offset, backspacing dimensions do you recommend for these with 17x11 and 17x9.5?

How many times are you going to post this same question?
And this is a 20 year-old thread...

Re: Help w/ rims and ordering
there are thousands of people who would like this answered and the content of this thread has not done that. The one person who has done it is the only person who should be answering this, unless someone else sees it and knows the answer, comments like yours are not helpful for this answer.

Okay, here's the answer: Those tire sizes are too wide for third generation F-bodies unless serious frame and suspension modifications are performed...

Night of the Living Thread!!!!!
PS. I have 305 35 18 on 10in rears and 275 30 18 on 9 inch rears up front. I had 275/40-17 all around prior.

Really? So you think posting the same question multiple times in various 20+ year-old threads is gonna help it get answered?

but he didn't mention the specific information WE are needing.
So, what is that information that we need to accomplish this?

Well hopefully he can provide that information. That's a nice car in your attachments but the tires stick out past the body, which is not good...

Re: Help w/ rims and ordering
The goal is to fit these tires with the best backspacing possible without major chassis changes.
I understand that some chassis changes are necessary, like bump stop removal, some hammering or sheet metal work.
I have heard of many people doing this but no one ever gets into specifics.
What rim/wheel offset, backspacing dimensions do you recommend for these with 17x11 and 17x9.5?

Re: Help w/ rims and ordering
A 315 is gonna be really tight in the rear. You'll need a 10.5-11 inch wheel, this will need a bit of wheel well work. My 305s on 10s have 5.75-6 inch backspacing. They're tight, I had to massage the inter wheel well a little. The 275 on 9s are an easy fit upfront. My car is pretty low and they hit the liner at full lock.
these are the 18s but it's pretty much the same.
