Procedure for color sanding?

The paint job I got about two years ago is pretty crappy. Some places have orange peel and some places don't. Would I need to do a colorsanding or what to make all of the paint smooth and shiny? I have wet sanded things before but nothing as important as the paint on my car. If somebody could let me know what I should do I would really appreciate it!

You need to sand it down with 1200-1500 grit sandpaper, that can be used for wetsanding. You can use a block or you can do it with your hand--just make sure you do it in circles or side to side so you do not have any grooves from your fingers--sand about a 1 foot by 1 foot area at a time and squeegee the water off every few seconds or so until the surface looks smooth with no orange peel. The you need to take cutting polish(I used 3M Perfect It II) and apply it to the buffing pad(I used the Maroon cutting pad from 3M) And buff the area at about 1500 RPMS on the buffer. Keep the buffer moving and do not stay in one place or you will burn through the paint. Also, watch out for the edges(maybe tape the edges with masking tape. Once you finish that, you need to use finishing polish(used 3M Perfect it II finishing polish for this), but use a softer pad(usually yellow or white). After that you should have a beautiful mirror shine.
P.S. Wipe off any polish that slings immediately!!! it is very very difficult to get it off once it dries, especially in cracks. GOOD LUCK!!
