just put this hood on about 2 weeks ago. it was off a different (REALLY white) camaro, had a little damage on it, and i got it for $125. the strips on the front are because he had a bra on it. they will be coming off within the next few days. this pic was taken today and it was rainy, plus i changed the color so the hood looked the same color. im going to post again with an overall shot

That pic of Brad's Z with the SS hood is absolutely amazing!!! I've got a '92 Z28 myself, bright red/black anniversary stripes etc...just like his, I've got chrome SS rims going on as well and those pics make me wanna get an SS hood and get the stripes painted on as well.....does Brad have any other pics of his car...any head on.....I'd love to see any or all pics he has!!!

If you want my (female) opinion, I like the 3" - 4" cowl hoods and the newer 4th gen style SS hoods for 3rd Gen Camaros.

Don't know who's car this is but DAMN!!! This is the finest looking 3rd Gen I have ever seen.

Thankyou for all of the pictures. I really am not the type of person to go for a cowl hood. I like the SS hoods and the Big Block Hood that Third Gen Resource has. Here is what it looks like. What do you think?

Cowl hoods and SS hoods are made for Camaros though. That Ram Air hood doesn't look too bad, but when I look at that it just makes me think it doesn't fit right. Have you ever seen an SS hood on a firebird/WS6/Formula? No because it would look rediculous. Like the picture of the Camaro with the Trans AM spoiler. WTF is that? Just my .02

hey, its all about uniqueness, if everybody had a cowl and/or SS, nobody would be unique. I think the 4th Gen T/A Wing is tight as he!!, even though it doesnt look as good as on a Bird, I still want it on my Camaro, but I am going with the Turbo IROC Hood, myself, I love the Ram Air II, but I'll save that mod for when ever I get a Trans/Am. To each there own right, I want a style that only I have, then I would be satisified becuase...

thanks. my original plan was to get the hood of of cliff's car (the one with the inserts removed form the hood), put on an SS scoop, and paint it, but cliff changed his mind:-(
its all good, though, you still talk to cliff?

 

i've chatted with him on PMs on TXSR.....i just need to get my car runnin right...since i did the engine swap, it runs like ****


but back on topic, cliff offered me the Z hood one time... i need it now, the guys that were working on my car put the hood paint side up against a tree and and creased the front of it...so now my paint is f'd up.

 

That would be the Mean Yellow Z. He's since sold the car and I haven't seen him around much anymore.
