Plastic T-top headliner
Hey I've heard about that plastic t-top headliner, now 2 questions
does anyone have a pic of one of these installed. And do you have to cover it with cloth or just install it.

You can buy them covered in the color you need. I didn't have good luck with one I bought but many people here have. Thirdgen Resource pricing was the best I found and are good people to deal with. Only important thing about the headliner itself is if you don't have the basic dome light(no map lights or the overhead unit) then you'll have to cut the hole(s) for them. If so, use a brand new blade and take your time and it should come out nice. If you have your old headliner keep it as a guide to aid in cutting.

that was the second thing I bought for my car...I absolutly love it. Cant go wrong with it cuase like Scott hinted at, is that after time the fiberglass ones fall abart, which is why I had to replace it. Mine was in about six peices and the rest was barely holding together...I look and see if I can find a pic...

I am also waiting on the abs headliner, & aftermarket seat covers. I will post before and after pix as I get them in when they arrive. It should be another 2-4 weeks before I get them. The guy at Hawks said he wouldn't promise the 2 week delivery because they are made to order and the factory is really back-ordered right now.:lala:

i just got mine from a1automotive this afternoon. It took a week to come, and they shipped me the wrong damn color. I think it would be cheaper to have it recovered in grey then to ship it back and forth. oh well, my interior is grey, and they shipped me black. I have yet to install it, its abs plastic, the customer service was cool, or so i thought, then i got the wrong color. The guy and i talked about it over the phone, and i heard him say "medium grey, ok" as if he was typing it on the computer. Oh well whatever.

Yeah I just want to know if you have to cover it, or if its like a direct replacement, you know plastic instead of cloth. Yeah I some of the post kinda of answered my question but I m still not clear.

the plastic one comes with your choice of color, or in my case, black. the fiberglass one, from what ive noticed, comes uncovered. The abs plastic is black, by the way.
