Here's my 5th gen drawings
I did these at work when it was slow so they are not perfect, they are just sketches . I'm trying to find a nice one so i can do a full size poster to pimp in my house. What one do you like, if any?? Once I get a nice design and finished it on I will post it.

I love your drawing but on a side note, how much of the public would agree with you guys??? They have to be more "mild" to be a mass produced car that people will buy.....now if GM offered a bse miodel but a syling kit...OMG that might be the jackpot for them.

Camaro6spd,
I would have agreed with you about 10 years ago, but when you consider that Chrysler is producing essentially the same car as the prototype Viper, the PT Cruiser, and now are going to be introducing the Crossfire, I think the people are tired of the ordinary.
oh by the way, #2
just my opinion

For those of you who like #2 here is a 3/4 view so you can see the back. This is just my first thoughts on the back what do you think? I also added some Z28 graphics on the side.
P.S. if you haven't seen UHF with Wierd Al and Micheal Richards, check it out.

Wow! I'm split between 2 and 4. I love 2 for its 1st gen body lines and bumpers, but I also like the T/A-like wing on there.
I like the 'vette rear on 4 too. Very nice!

It seems to me that the pic up top for number 2 kinda looks diferent than the #2 that you just posted (back view) . I think the top #2 looks great, but the back view just dosent do it for me.
Dont get me wrong im not saying it looks bad, just the back view dosent do the side view justice.

The one thing I do want to do is have to chrome bumper wrap from the side to the back, same with the front. Kind of like the 1st gen. Speaking of "like" the 1st gen. What do you guys think of the new cars the look like old car. Like the PT crusier, the new thunderbird, beatle, chevy SSR sport truck. I dont mean what you think about the car them self, but about how they look "old". That is prob what I will do with my "5th gen".

Awesome!
I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'm tired of all the cars on the road lookin' alike. These days its gettin hard to tell the diff between a domestic and an import (riceboys even rice out Neons and Stangs, i've seen it).
Why do automakers want to create bland lookin' cars for production anyways? I always see cool lookin' cars at car shows, but by the time they make it to production... I like the concept sketches of the new Vette MUCH better than the new Vette itself. (It's not a BAD lookin' car, it's just not as nice as the original drawings.)
As far as new cars that look like old cars, they never do the old car justice. The new T-bird looks like a Chevron car, the old 57s that it was trying to look like were nice lookin cars. The only one I like is going out of production: The Prowler.
Oh, yeah, to answer your question, I like em all! I want to see a front 3/4 view! I love the graphics. If there are grafix on new cars (ahem, cough 35th anniversary Firebird) they look bad. Bring back good old-style stuff like you have on the Z28! I like!

#2 by far the best. for the rear view u sould make it look like the 1st gen rear and then ad the rap around chrome bumper and then try sumthing with the front end. and yea that would be kool with a bigger engine bay, so if some custom guys want to drop a hugh engine in it they could. also one thing to think of is make it with a full frame and not the uni-body. just a thought.

Hurm..
my thoughts..
1# looks like it came from Europe
2# look like someone got silly with adding heratige clues to the current 4th gen T/A
3# looks like a Delorean
4# err . . . doesn't one already exist? think it starts with an f...
Nice drawings though, you got some awesome talent. Only thing I can do is buildings, I can't do cars or people with penical, but I can do buildings like you wouldn't believe

i think 4 looks tight but i also think it looks too fast for an fbody and would have a delorean affect -- looks sweet but no ***** (relative to looks) to back it up.
1 looks real good too cept for the pointy nose, maybe make it more like a thirdgen camaro one (more aggressive)
just my $.02

sweet drawings.. my vote was for 4 because it appeals to me the most.. but i'd take a 3rd gen or 2nd gen over any of those.. (unless they were 500+ hp behemoths)
#3, sorry to say, is a c4 vette
i like 3rd gen camaro's because they kept the boxy look of a muscle car.. then the 4th gen hits and bam.. it's just.. looks not right.. like they've mutilated it..
if somehow you could make #2 not look so retro but keep it lookin' musclecarish..
i dunno..

noaint,
Its Lamborgini meets Pontiac, actaully I think its really cool looking, don't know if I would ever seriously want one. But I think its an awesome looking ride.
Did you do the drawing? or is it something that you found somewhere...
Who knows, I heard thru different channels that the Fiero might be re-introduced... But that information is about as reliable as asking a 3 year old to clean her room...

Its all mine, done with pencil crayons and markers
I know its exotic and I really just drew it and then slapped the Trans Am monaker on it.
But it would have to be something different to bring back the f body.

I know this really means nothing, but back a few years ago I was traveling to Arizona via plane, and I happened to sit next to this marketing guy for GM. we got into the whole, so where do you work discussion.
So we were sitting there in the terminal and I asked him a few questions about the F-body and stoping of their production. What he stated pleased me and it might please all of you as well. He basically stated that the Firebird and Camaro will be taking a year to a few years without production. They are not necessarily "Gone forever" as some people have suggested. Although they might return the cars might pick up new names, but their essence may verry well reappear. He stated 2005 a couple of times and mentioned using the new rear wheel drive Cadillac platform. he also mentioned that the Camaro NAME will more than likely return, but the Firebird might not.
Now keep in mind this is by no means something that is GOING to happen, it is just what we were discussing and what he stated was promising. I do not know what it all means...

Foz, talk to the reps quite a bit at work, aparently there were many reasons to kill them, sales, quality, and the biggest,... GM does not like the plant/people/contract. If they show again, i'll bet it will be a USA plant.
BTW, all new designs have to go through Lutz for approval. This is not the way is used to be before. I asked the rep how the Aztec and Avalanche slipped through their fingers, and ended up in production. Design chiefs had final word, focus groups, (of three year olds apparently,) and they felt they needed to take a chance. Their trying to capture the jackpot Ford had with the Taurus, and taking chances.
IMO, take the chance and build the GTO prototype, the Nomad proto., and Ford should build the "49".
