I'm working with a guy that may chrome plate my radio trim plate and console shifter plate for me.
What do ya think ??

Boy, you came to the right place for opinions, this place is full of them. What I would do is to get a spare set, have him do them. Then see how they look. If YOU (remember, you have to drive it, no one else on the forum) like it, then keep them. If you don't think they are for you, sell them on e-bay. Some camaro owner that is po'd that he doesn't have a Honda may want them. I personally don't think they would look good, but that is me.

What would be the difference between Chrome plating them and painting them??? seems to me that there is little difference except for color, and alot of folks around here do the painting thing...
Now what might be really cool is if you could find a way to chrome plate your instruments, then that might be kind of neet especially on a silver car with a black interior...

Id do it it sounds cool. rice is chrome plating everything on the interiour of the car and then mounting 17 neon lights on the dash

Just remember:
A) It's your car. Do what you like not everyone else.
B) Chrome will show every little fingerprint you leave on it. Touch any piece of chrome you find and you'll see what I mean.
