speedometer

my speedometer dont work in my car.. what do i need to fix that?? cuz like im a lead foot and i'll end up goin like 20 miles over speed limit and wont even know it.. lol please help!

Engine: 3.1
Transmission: Auto
I've got the same problem right now, and haven't quite gotten around to fixing it yet. One of the easiest ways to keep yourself from speeding though is by simply watching the tach. figure out about where 65 is for highway driving and keep it there. Its not the best solution, but until you get it fixed it'll help.

Probably the speedometer cable. I plan to replace mine tomorrow. I already bought it.

its not a cable though its a cluster i belive somthin like that.. and its gonna cost me alot ..

check the end of the cable going in the trans. see if the cable end is rounded off. best of luck, tom
